March : Springtime is coming !

In March, the spring equinox finally arrives !

This month,
Nazario Graziano realizes unusual collages of pictures for KCI Support System USA, and also creates fun silhouettes for a Nolitours web contest, Silke Werzinger illustrates a new campaign for McDonald's young audiences in France, Aaron McConomy illustrates the press kit and the official poster for the 2012 Maple festivities in Quebec, Takeshi illustrates for the Los Angeles 54th Grammy’s, Oscar continues his collaboration for the TGV Lyria campaign, Geraldine Georges extends her stylish universe to the site of the Massey Tower Complex in Toronto and, finally, for all motion design fans, a not-to-be-missed new demo from Raoul Paulet. The Graphic Clinic reveals some of its latest projects. The monthly downloadable wallpaper is fresh and revealing of a warm springtime. Nazario Graziano / KCI Support System / USA

Nazario had to create illustrations for KCI's Zuma Therapeutic Mobility brochures showing the patients in their usual routines. Rather than show the support device in action, the concept was based around the end benefit - getting patients home and back to their lives.

Silke Werzinger / McDonald's / France

Series of illustrations for a McDonald's press campaign depicting its engagement toward kids. To guarantee choice and quality, to give access to organic food, to have children love fruits and to encourage kids to try sports. Silke realized a total of 7 illustrations for this annual campaign. The rest of the series will be unveiled in the months to follow. Project realized with TBWA Paris.

The Maple Celebration / Montreal

Spring is almost there and maple is already in the place of honor in Quebec! La fête de l'érable 2012/ maple celebration event 2012 organized by Quebec Maple Producers took place on March 4th in Montréal. Aaron McConomy was chosen to create for the occasion, a series of illustrations: a cauliflower, a rosemary herb and a vegetable garden. His work has been displayed during the event and has also been used to accompany the event press release.

Nazario Graziano / Nolitours / Transat Airways / Montreal

It's not holidays yet but Nolitours’contest on its Facebook page makes us think about it.. For this Facebook application project, Nazario Graziano was asked to create in a modern collage style 6 different vacationers profiles in a south destination environment : discover the adventure lady, the marathon tanner, the red lobster, the miss “I wanna do it all” and others. 

The 54th Grammy’s / Los Angeles

Takeshi illustration for the Los Angeles 54th Grammy’s.
The request was to create an explosion of liquid substance providing from Bruno Mars, representing the music, to go with the Grammy’s slogan “We Are Music”. - Takeshi

Massey Tower Condos / Toronto

3 illustrators at the clinic were mandated to illustrate different music theme inspirations for the Massey Tower condos project campaign. This illustration of Geraldine Georges based on Alternative Music, is used for the launch of the campaign and published, among others, on the website and printed ads. The other illustrations will be revealed next month.

TGV Lyria / Paris

Oscar continues his collaboration for the campaign: Discover Switzerland's other nature for TGV Lyria, and illustrates the last web advertising. Colagene graphic design clinic handled the web banners' animation.

"Zen" wallpaper to download

Here's the 7th downloadable wallpaper. This surrealistic buddha inspires us a reassuring and generous springtime. This illustration was created by Takeshi. Do not hesitate to share this illustration that conveys Takeshi's unique universe. And, most of all, remain zen for March!

Wanted / Paris

Colagene, graphic design clinic just created the new website of the modeling agency Wanted. Wanted was created to meet two objectives : represents models wich physical profiles do not match(/do not correspond) the usual criterial of modeling agencies, and allow the advertisers to find what they need, which is outized and atypical individuals.

Asda Magazine / London

Adam illustrates Asda Magazine 2 pages' Health section. The subject of the article is giving up smoking and the benefits from doing this: Adam's fun and naive style timeline shows how fast your body gets better the longer you give up smoking.

Jérôme Mireault / Out Magazine / New York

Based on a story in Symposium section about girls celebrating their bachelorette party in gay bars, Jérôme had to illustrate how annoying that could be, according to the author.

Aaron McConomy drew a series of obstacle courses that we can experience in our life for an article published on Affaire Plus magazine about how to choose REER depending on the stage in life we are experiencing and that can have an impact on our retirement savings.
