On April 22nd, it will be the Earth Day, which marks every year the foundation of this environmental movement created in 1970. On this occasion, many events are held worldwide to demonstrate support for environmental protection. At the clinic, the wallpaper of the month, created by Tonwen Jones, is inspired by this event. We invite you to participate in the way of your choice to this great cause. Let's be conscious and active everyday, and love our planet!

Damien Vignaux animated the illustrations created by Mydeadpony for a TV spot for Libresse broadcasted in Eastern Europe.

Nazario Graziano is an illustrator, but also a graphic designer. He created many album artworks and music posters. Here is a good example of his work that seduced us at the clinic. It is for the album "Per fortuna dormo poco" by Italian songwriter Tommaso Di Giulio.

David Despau created 4 illustrations of famous sport athletes for the article " War is the answer" in the Analytics issue of ESPN magazine.

He also shares with us a series of personal illustrations that he named "Legend Sneakers"; a mix between legendary sport shoes and renowned people. 

Jérôme Mireault is from the Province of Quebec, and in Quebec right now, the heat is scarce. He unveils this personal work and explains his approach: "to limit the details and to focus on the colors, in order to bring a little cheerfulness because of the springtime that is slow to arrive."

The wallpaper this month, about the theme of Earth Day, has been illustrated by Tonwen Jones. Tonwen is British and is living by the sea in Brghton. Don't hesitate to share the wallpaper to others in order to make them also discover her oneiric world consisting of a mix of hand drawing and collage.

You will find here few last creations of Silke Werzinger in Germany. The first and the last one are part of a series of horoscope illustrations for the German magazine Maxi. She has worked on the horoscope section every month for one year.

Illustration 2 and 3 have been created for the German magazine Musikexpress, which is a music magazine, on the theme: Pop Poll 2012. The magazine asked its readers about their favorite artists/persons/movies/events in 2012.

Illustration 4 has been created for the Berlin based PR agency Zucker on the themes Sport/Fashion/Lifestyle.

For an article about a woman who is taking a mathematical approach to her fight against cancer, Jérôme Mireault had to illustrate a hand-drawn diagram with a chalkboard style of the different parts of the woman's life and her support systems: family, friends, doctors, fellow Colby alumni.
